Hula's Purpose

7. Hula was & is one of the most siginaficant & meaningful aspects of Hawaiian Culture.

8. It was a form of dance used to record history & to tell myths & stories.

9. Used as a link between Ali'i and ancestral gods & goddesses.

10. Hula was an art form& involved hand & feet movements to perform a visual like poetry.





Introduction:

1. Tradition, a beliefor custom handed down in a way, establised customs or methods or a prosedure.

2. Culture is deeply rooted in native people.

3. Both Native Hawaiians and Native Amercians were the same.

4. The beliefs of these people are intertwined through generations.

5. Though both nations were miss-treated & cultures looked down upon, the natives manage to keep their cultures alive.

6. Dance is a way the two cultures express spiritual & culture beliefs with the world.
